The Marello POS+ purpose is to facilitates transactions between a customer and a merchant. Where a customer would like to buy a product or service and a merchant is willing to offer this product or service to the customer.
Additionally Marello POS+ offers features to help, support and inspire customers and merchants in their needs and operations.
Information We Collect
- Anonymous Checkout: When a purchase is made using Marello POS+ system’s anonymous checkout feature, order details are saved in the database without being linked to customers personal information (including name, customer id, email address, address or any other customer information).
- Shipping Information: If a customer choose to have products shipped to him/her, the customer will need to provide a shipping address. This information is solely used by the merchant to process and ship the order to the correct destination.
- Loyalty Points and Credits: If a customer wish to utilize loyalty points or other credits, a customer identifier such as your email address or customer number is required. This information is used solely for the purpose of managing and applying the customers loyalty points or credits.
- Online Payment: If a customer choose to pay online, such as by using a credit cart or debit cart, the payment information will be redirected to a separate, non-Marello facilitated payment terminal to handle the transaction securely.
How We Use Your Information
- Order Processing: Marello POS+ uses the information collected to allow the merchant to process orders efficiently and accurately.
- Shipping: Customers shipping information is collected by the Marello POS+ solely for the purpose to allow the merchant to deliver the purchases to the correct address.
- Loyalty Programs: Customer identifiers may be used to manage and apply loyalty points or credits to your purchases.
